PISCATAWAY, N.J. (May 31, 2012) – Head coach Louis Levine and the Rutgers University gymnastics program have announced the addition of seven gymnasts to the 2012-13 roster. In addition to the previously introduced Jenna Williams (Bordentown, N.J.), the Scarlet Knights will welcome Aziza Day (Snellville, Ga.), Alexis Gabel (North Brunswick, N.J.), Claudia Salinas (Allendale, N.J.), Katie Stebick (Waterford, Pa.), Danielle Verdon (Freehold, N.J.) and Nicolette Wilson (Toms River, N.J.) to campus this fall.
“When you add these girls to what we have coming back as well as Jenna Williams, who we signed in the fall, I think this class really helps to raise the overall level of the program,” said Levine. “We are adding several high level routines on every event. The large size of this class will really help to create competition for every spot in the lineup. We are really looking forward to getting everybody to campus in the fall and pushing towards new heights during the 2012-13 competitive season.”
