NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Sophomore Chris Ressa (Andover, NJ) won his 25th match of the season in building a 20-14 lead for the Scarlet Knights, but it wasn’t enough as Army rallied to defeat Rutgers, 23-20, at the College Ave. Gymnasium.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Former Rutgers standout David DeJesus (Manalapan, NJ) was selected last Wednesday as the Royals’ Minor League Player of the Year for 2002, following a season in which he hit a combined .288 with 76 runs scored and 56 RBI for Class-A Wilmington (DE) and Double-A Wichita (KS).
