WASHINGTON, DC - The Rutgers volleyball team (10-17, 4-7 BIG EAST) hit a dominating .420 en route to a 3-0 (30-23, 30-21 and 30-24) win over Georgetown in its last road match of the year on Sunday, Nov. 9.

November-08-03 Late-Game Miscue Lifts Connecticut Past Rutgers, 38-31
EAST HARTFORD, CT - With the score tied at 31-31 and just over 1:00 left in the game, junior Tres Moses mishandled a punt near his own goal line, which Connecticut recovered and converted into the game-deciding touchdown three plays later for a stunning, 38-31 victory on Senior Day at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. Rutgers built a 17-7 lead, but engaged in a see-saw battle during the second half of play that produced arguably the most exciting, and most frustrating, game of the season.

STORRS, CT - The Rutgers men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams both kept their perfect records alive with a sweep of Connecticut and set several pool records at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium. The men’s team (2-0, 2-0 BIG EAST) won 150.5-137.5, while the women (2-0, 2-0 BIG EAST) swam their way to a 153-134 victory.

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Freshman back Bart Koffeman (The Hague, Holland) broke a scoreless tie in the 94th minute to lead fourth-seeded Rutgers past fifth-seeded Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Championship quarterfinals on Saturday night in front of 1,086 fans at Yurcak Field.

November-07-03 Noon Named to All-BIG EAST Field Hockey First Team
CHESTNUT HILL, MA – Jennifer Noon (Shavertown, PA) and Megan Cech (Moorestown, NJ), of the Rutgers University field hockey team, were both recognized by the BIG EAST Conference at its annual pre-tournament banquet, held on Thursday, Nov. 6. Noon garnered First Team All-BIG EAST honors, while Cech was selected to the second team.

CHESTNUT HILL, MA – The Rutgers University field hockey season came to an end on Friday, Nov. 7, as the Scarlet Knights were defeated by No. 11 Connecticut, 3-0, in the semifinal round of the BIG EAST Tournament. RU finishes its season with a 7-13 record.

VILLANOVA, PA - The Rutgers volleyball team (9-17, 3-7 BIG EAST) ran into one of the hottest teams in the BIG EAST and fell 3-0 (30-21, 30-20, 30-22) to Villanova on Friday, Nov. 7, at the Jake Nevin Fieldhouse.
