October-26-03 RU Women's Soccer Defeats Georgetown, 2-1 in Double Overtime
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Redshirt sophomore Christine Wentzler (Northvale, NJ) scored less than 90 seconds into the second overtime period to lift the Rutgers women’s soccer team (10-5-4, 3-2-1 BIG EAST) to a 2-1 victory against Georgetown (6-11-1, 0-6 BIG EAST) in the regular-season finale Oct. 26 at Yurcak Field.

October-26-03 Women's Volleyball Falls to First Place Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, PA - The Rutgers volleyball team (9-14, 3-4 BIG EAST) dropped a 3-0 (30-19, 30-28 and 30-28) decision to Pittsburgh, which remained undefeated in the BIG EAST at 7-0.

October-25-03 Hart and Leonard Lead Rutgers Past Temple 30-14
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Sophomore quarterback Ryan Hart became the first Rutgers quarterback in school history to throw for 300 yards in back-to-back games today as he completed 30-of-42 passes for 316 yards and one touchdown to lead the Scarlet Knights to a 30-14 win over Temple at Lincoln Financial Field.

PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers swimming and diving team completed its first meet of the year as the Sonny Werblin Invitational drew to a close on Saturday, Oct. 25.

October-25-03 RU Men's Soccer Blanks West Virginia, 2-0, In BIG EAST Finale
PISCATAWAY, NJ – A change in the line-up sparked an offensive explosion for the 16th-ranked Rutgers men’s soccer team in its 2-0 victory over West Virginia in front of 1,234 fans at Yurcak Field on Saturday night.

October-24-03 Men's 2003-04 Outlook
This should be the strongest and deepest team in the history of the Rutgers men's swimming and diving program. The team graduated two seniors and will red shirt multi-school record holder and conference champion Sean Smith, however, they will be ably replaced by four freshman swimmers and the return of school record holder Bill Dennis, who redshirted last year.

October-24-03 Women's 2003-04 Outlook
The women's team will be very young this season as ten seniors graduated last spring, costing the women's squad depth, quality national performers and leadership. However, one of the premier swimmers in Rutgers history, Casmera Wick, will be returning for her fifth year and will serve as co-captain.
