PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers seniors Graig Badger (Union, NJ) and Nick Cerulo (Woodbridge, NJ) have each been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2004 Academic All-District II University Division Baseball Team. It is the first time in program history that two players have earned First Team All-District honors in the same season.

May-10-04 Rutgers Receives NCAA Tournament Bid
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers men’s lacrosse season will continue in the first round of the NCAA Division I Tournament as the Scarlet Knights earned one of 10 at-large bids to this year’s tournament. The Scarlet Knights (8-5) will face intrastate rival Princeton in the opening round on Saturday at Princeton’s Class of 1952 Stadium. Face-off time is set for noon.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Four Scarlet Knight women’s lacrosse players were honored by the BIG EAST Conference in its annual postseason awards, the league announced on Monday, May 10. Senior Maggie Bopp (Lindenhurst, NY), juniors Lyndsey Feldman (Ft. Myers, FL) and Catherine Seals (Long Valley, NJ), and freshman Katie Batiuk (Jackson, NJ) were each named All-BIG EAST Second Team selections. Voting was conducted among the league’s seven head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
