PISCATAWAY, NJ – Ten members of the Rutgers University gymnastics team have been named to the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches (NACGC) Academic All-America team, the organization announced. In addition, the Scarlet Knights achieved a 3.230 cumulative team grade point average, which places them within the Top 30 nationally.

Vivian Stringer and the 2004 U.S. Women’s Basketball Olympic Team defeated Greece 102-72 in the quarterfinals Aug. 25, advancing the Americans to the medal semifinals Aug. 27. Stringer is serving as an assistant coach for the two-time defending gold medalist U.S. team.
