PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers football coach Greg Schiano has announced the appointments of John McNulty and Chris Demarest to the Scarlet Knights’ staff as assistant coaches. Schiano also announced that graduate assistant coach Phil Galiano has been named linebackers coach. Additionally, special teams coordinator/running backs coach Darren Rizzi has been named assistant head coach, and tight ends coach Joe Susan has been named recruiting coordinator.

MORGANTOWN, WV – The West Virginia women's basketball team (19-7, 10-4 BE) shot 60.4% from the floor en route to an 80-71 win over Rutgers (16-10, 8-6 BE) tonight at the WVU Colesium. The Scarlet Knights wasted a superb effort from sophomore Michelle Campbell, who scored a career-best 23 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the floor.

EAST MEADOW, NY - For the second consecutive year, the Rutgers women’s swimming and diving team finished second at the BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championships, which were held this year at the Nassau County Aquatics Center. The Scarlet Knights won a total of five events this year, and following the meet Rutgers’ seventh-year head coach Chuck Warner was named Women’s Swimming Coach of the Year for the second year in a row and third time in his tenure.

BOCA RATON, FL - For the second time in three days, Rutgers (2-3) defeated LIU (1-4) at the FAU Tournament on the campus of Florida Atlantic University. The 4-2 victory allowed the Scarlet Knights to move into the third-place game of the tournament against Eastern Michigan at 11:00 a.m. today, Feb. 22.
