The Terriers won four of the first five matches to open up a fourteen point lead the Knights couldn’t overcome. The Knights fall to 5-5 on the season.

January-26-05 Rutgers Wrestling Bows to Navy, 35-7
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Rutgers wrestling team dropped a 35-7 decision to 19th-ranked Navy Wednesday night at Halsey Field House on the campus of the United States Naval Academy. Riddled with injuries, RU was forced to compete with a limited lineup, forfeiting at 197 and heavyweight. The Scarlet Knights move to 5-4 overall and 1-4 in the EIWA with the loss, while the Midshipmen improve to 7-3 overall and 3-1 in the EIWA.

January-24-05 Rutgers Announces Olympic Sports Hall of Fame Inductees
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is pleased to announce the addition of four individuals to the Olympic Sports Hall of Fame. The 2004 class was selected back in November and includes four outstanding individuals, two who both played and coached with the Scarlet Knights. Carla Camino (softball), Pedro Lopes (men’s soccer), Bob Naso (men’s lacrosse) and Pete Zoccolillo (baseball) will be inducted during halftime of the women’s basketball game vs. West Virginia on Sunday, January 30.
