November-14-04 Women’s Cross Country Finishes Ninth at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional
STATE COLLEGE, PA – The Rutgers women’s cross country team concluded the season with a ninth place finish at the 2004 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Saturday, Nov. 13 in State College, PA. The Scarlet Knights were one of 24 teams to participate in this weekend’s event.

BROCKPORT, NY – The Rutgers University wrestling team opened the 2004-05 season with an eighth-place showing at the SUNY Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Showcase Classic. The Scarlet Knights finished with 52.0 points in the 11-school tournament, one point behind Buffalo.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Rutgers volleyball team (15-10, 3-6 BIG EAST) won the first game, but eventually fell short 3-1 to BIG EAST opponent Georgetown (16-12, 3-6 BIG EAST) on Friday, Nov. 12. The match scores were 30-23, 24-30, 21-30 and 17-30.

November-11-04 Karcz, LaBrocca Earn BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Honors
SOMERSET, NJ - Senior forward Chris Karcz (Clifton, NJ) and sophomore midfielder Nick LaBrocca (Howell, NJ) each earned All-BIG EAST men’s soccer honors it was announced on Thursday night at the league’s postseason awards banquet held at the Doubletree Hotel in Somerset, NJ. LaBrocca earned second team honors, while Karcz was a third team selection. Voting was conducted among the league’s 12 head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
