November-05-04 Rutgers Hand Pittsburgh First BIG EAST Volleyball Loss
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – The Rutgers volleyball team (14-9, 2-5 BIG EAST) snapped its three-match losing streak in outstanding fashion, handing first-place Pittsburgh its first loss in BIG EAST action on Friday, Nov. 5, at the College Avenue Gymnasium. The match scores were 30-26, 22-30, 30-25, 21-30 and 15-13.

November-04-04 Rutgers Picked Fourth in EIWA Preseason Rankings
PISCATAWAY, NJ –The Rutgers University wrestling team has been picked to finish in fourth place along with the Naval Academy in the preseason rankings, voted on by the team’s coaches. Seniors Andy Roy (Wall, NJ), Chris Ressa (Andover, NJ) and John Foscolo (South Plainfield, NJ) and sophomores Ramel Meekins (Westwood, NJ) and Dan Hilt (Manalapan, NJ) have each been ranked near the top of their respective weight classes.

STORRS, CT - Rutgers senior Carli Lloyd (Delran, NJ) has been named the BIG EAST Conference Women's Soccer Midfielder of the Year, teammate Kim Brandao (Rahway, NJ) has been named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team and Zoe Avner (Paris, France) has earned a spot on the All-Third Team, the league office has announced.
