PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team (5-2, 0-1 BIG EAST) kept the score close as No. 4 Georgetown scored a late goal to earn the BIG EAST victory, 6-5, on Yurcak Field Sunday, March 30.

PISCATAWAY, NJ - In a marathon match that lasted more than six hours, the Rutgers women’s tennis team earned a 4-3 victory over Syracuse on Sunday at the Busch Tennis Bubble. The win is the Scarlet Knights’ eighth of the season and improves them to 4-2 in the BIG EAST Conference. Sunday’s victory was also Rutgers’ fifth in its last six matches.

March-30-03 RU Women’s Golf Places 18th at Rain-Shortened William & Mary Invitational
WILLIAMSBURG, VA - Like the men did a week earlier, the Rutgers women’s golf team competed in the William and Mary Invitational this weekend. The two-day tournament, held at the par-71 Blackheath Course at Ford’s Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, VA, was shortened to just one day after inclement weather swept through the area on Sunday, forcing the cancellation of the tournament’s final round.

RALEIGH, NC – The Rutgers men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed in the first day of the Raleigh Relays today, hosted by North Carolina State on March 28-29, at NC State's Paul H. Derr Track. More than 3,000 athletes representing approximately 110 teams will compete.

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Senior Jeff Duca (Fair Lawn, NJ) scored a goal with three seconds left in overtime to give Rutgers a 12-11 victory over No. 17 UMBC today at Yurcak Field in front of 1,027 fans. The ninth-ranked Scarlet Knights (8-1, 2-0) scored the final six goals of the game, erasing a four-goal fourth quarter deficit.
