PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers women’s tennis team earned its fifth consecutive victory on Wednesday afternoon inside the Busch Tennis Bubble in Piscataway, NJ, shutting out Seton Hall, 7-0. PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers University baseball team has added a game and rescheduled another on its 2003 schedule. The Scarlet Knights have added a single game with Wagner College, which will be played at home on Tuesday, April 29, at 3:00 p.m. In addition, Rutgers will host Rider College on Sunday, May 18 following a change in its final BIG EAST weekend at Villanova.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – The Rutgers women’s crew swept Connecticut in five races on the Raritan River April 6. “I’m very pleased with our effort today,” Rutgers women’s head coach Max Borghard said. “Our women are starting to feel very confident about what they are doing.”

April-06-03 RU Baseball Takes Doubleheader from Georgetown
BETHESDA, MD - The Rutgers University baseball team used some late-game, opportunistic scoring to sweep a BIG EAST doubleheader from Georgetown today at Shirley Povich Field. In the opener, Rutgers plated six runs in the final inning, highlighted by a three-run double from Matt Wolski (Hamilton, NJ) and a two-run blast by Steve Normane (Pt. Pleasant, NJ) to break a 1-1 tie and win, 7-3, while in the second game, RU scored seven eighth-inning runs to erase a 5-2 deficit on its way to a 12-7 win. With the sweep, Rutgers is now 10-12 overall and 4-2 in BIG EAST action.

STORRS, CT - The Rutgers softball team was swept by Connecticut in a BIG EAST doubleheader, 2-0 and 10-2, Sunday in Storrs, CT. The Scarlet Knights fall to15-12, 1-5 BIG EAST while UConn improves to 13-13-1, 2-0 BIG EAST.
