PRINCETON, NJ – The Rutgers women’s and heavyweight men’s crews competed on Lake Carnegie April 2 in Princeton. The races, originally scheduled for the Raritan River in New Brunswick, were moved due to weather conditions.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Making his first start for the Scarlet Knights, junior Ryan Bradley (Overland Park, KS) took a shutout into the eighth inning today as Rutgers knocked off Rider, 11-2, in its home opener at the Class of ’53 Baseball Complex.

QUEENS, NY – Freshman Nate Sanderson (Orangeville, Ontario) scored a game-high four goals as the Rutgers men’s lacrosse team (3-4, 1-1 ECAC) snapped a four-game losing streak with a 9-6 victory over St. John’s (2-6, 0-3 ECAC) at DaSilva Memorial Field in Queens, NY on Wednesday.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers University softball team (0-20) fell in its doubleheader against defending Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) champions Hofstra (18-10) on Wednesday, March 30, at the RU Softball Complex. The Scarlet Knights lost games one and two by a score of 12-0 and 11-2, respectively.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s tennis team snapped a three-game losing streak with a convincing 5-2 victory over BIG EAST rival Connecticut on Tuesday in Piscataway. With the win, the Scarlet Knights improve to 6-8 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers University baseball team's (12-8) home opener against Rider, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, has been postponed due to wet field conditions. The game will be played Thursday, March 31 at the Class of ’53 Baseball Complex in Piscataway. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
