KINGSTON, RI - The Rutgers men’s golf team tied for third place overall with George Washington at the rain-shortened University of Rhode Island Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 26, carding a 312 team score. The event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, was shortened to one round as rain moved through the par-72 Newport Golf Club on Saturday morning, canceling the final round of competition.
