BRONX, NY – The Rutgers men’s indoor track and field team secured five first-place finishes on its way to a decisive victory at the Fordham Invitational on Friday, Jan. 7. The Scarlet Knights led the team scoring with 126 points, followed by Rider with 102.5 and Manhattan College in third (90.5). RU was one of 15 teams to compete.

AUSTIN, TX – The No. 24 Rutgers women’s basketball team (8-2) clawed its way back from a 16-point halftime deficit to register a 51-47 upset at No. 4/3 Texas (7-3) Jan. 2. The victory marked the second straight win for the Scarlet Knights against a top-10 team (65-51 vs. No. 8/8 Tennessee Dec. 29), and ended the nation’s longest active homecourt win streak at 41.

WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Rutgers wrestling team finished competition at the 72nd annual Wilkes Open on Tuesday. The tournament, which was reduced to one day this year, saw five Scarlet Knights place, including a pair of top-three showings.
