PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers scored in each of the first five innings and sophomore Mark Lampariello (Annandale, NJ) turned in another strong outing, allowing just one earned run over 6.0 innings, as the Scarlet Knights (31-19) beat St. Peter’s (5-42), 13-2, this afternoon at the Class of ’53 Baseball Complex.

May-19-05 Men’s Golf Sits 25th With First-Round Play Suspended at NCAA Regionals
KINGSTON SPRINGS, TN – The Rutgers men’s golf team fired a 306 (+22) and currently sits in 25th place out of the 27 teams before first-round play was suspended at the NCAA East Regional in Kingston Springs, TN, near Nashville. Twenty one of the 27 teams in the East Regional completed their rounds before play was suspended due to darkness, where earlier in the day, weather forced a nearly two-hour delay.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Junior outfielder Johnny Defendis (Staten Island, NY) has been named the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association (NJCBA) Division I Player of the Year, highlighting the list of annual award winners from Rutgers. He is also one of five Rutgers players to earn First Team All-State honors.

May-18-05 Rutgers Heads to NCAA Men’s Golf Regionals This Weekend
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Enjoying one of its most successful seasons in the history of the program, the Rutgers men’s golf team embarks on its first NCAA Championship Regionals in 21 years this weekend.
