PISCATAWAY, NJ – Willie Foster (Miami, FL) returned the opening kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown, establishing the early momentum as Rutgers (1-1) eased past Villanova (0-1) 38-6 in RU’s home opener Sept. 10.

LAS VEGAS, NV – The Rutgers University volleyball team (2-7) dropped its final two matches at the UNLV Classic in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, Sept. 10. The Scarlet Knights lost to tournament host UNLV by a score of 3-1 (20-30, 30-23, 16-30, 17-30) and Illinois 3-0 (18-30, 27-30, 23-30) on day two of competition.
