Rutgers Head Coach C. Vivian Stringer to Receive Honorary Degrees |
| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers head women's basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer will be honored with a pair of honorary degrees this month.
Stringer, the third winningest coach in women's basketball history, will receive a Doctor of Humanities degree from Howard University on Saturday, May 10.

Rutgers Hosts Villanova In Pivotal BIG EAST Baseball Series This Weekend |
| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers baseball team hosts Villanova this weekend at Bainton Field in a series that should help shape the BIG EAST Tournament field. The Scarlet Knights and Wildcats open their series with a 3:00 p.m. game Friday, followed by 1:00 p.m. games Saturday and Sunday at Bainton Field with Sunday's game serving as Senior Day on RU's final home game of the season. |

Additionally, sophomore Justin Pennington (Flemington, N.J.) and junior Chris O'Dougherty (Kinnelon, N.J.) garnered First Team All-ECAC honors. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers senior rower Melanie Spero (East Granby, Conn.) has been selected as the Undergraduate Speaker for Rutgers University's Commencement, Wednesday, May 21, on Voorhees Mall on the College Avenue Campus at 1:30p.m. After a campus-wide competition, Spero was selected based on a personal essay that she wrote for the contest. |

Rutgers Athletics Excels in Classroom in Latest APR Scores |
| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Seven sports at Rutgers University are ranked in the top 20 percentile nationally in the latest APR figures released by the NCAA, headlined by football, women's tennis and men's cross country, which are ranked in the top 10 percentile within their sport. According to the report, Rutgers recorded an average APR score of 972 for its 24 sports. |
