Volleyball Announces 2017 Promotional Schedule
Aug 28 | Women's Volleyball
Students have nine chances to win a 50-inch TV, Beats Headphones or an Apple Watch
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (Aug. 28, 2017) – Rutgers volleyball is thanking its fans for their support by offering a unique opportunity throughout the 2017 home schedule at the historic College Avenue Gymnasium. At the conclusion of nine different matches this fall, one lucky Rutgers student will win a 50-inch TV, a set of wireless Beats headphones, or an Apple Watch.
Here's how it works: Following each set, every student in attendance will receive a ticket. At the end of the match, the tickets will be entered into a drawing for one of the big prizes. There are three of each item scheduled across nine separate dates. For example, if a student stays for the entirety of a five-set thriller on Sept. 30 – the maximum number of sets in a volleyball match – they will have five chances to win an Apple Watch.
In addition, each home date on College Ave. features a different theme and chances to grab Scarlet Knights gear and giveaways.
Wednesday, Aug. 30 | 7 p.m. | Siena
The 2017 home opener is International Students Night, and the first chance for all fans to see the Scarlet Knights in action – and a special surprise at the College Ave. Gym. Pick up the 2017 schedule poster, and stick around after the game to have it signed by the volleyball team.
