> Sports Marketing Internship Program
Interns with the Rutgers University Division of Intercollegiate Athletics Marketing & Communications Office will act as liaisons between the Athletic Department and various campus and community groups, faculty and staff, and local sponsors of events.
Candidates for a sports marketing internship should have a strong work ethic, initiative, dedication and a sincere interest in Rutgers Athletics. Interns are vital components in the success of the overall department’s goals and objectives and will receive valuable hands-on marketing and promotions experience.
Interns will be expected to work and act in a professional manner when representing the Scarlet Knights while working a minimum of 8-12 office hours per week. Each intern is also expected to work at various Scarlet Knight athletic events, including all home football games. During basketball season, interns may be required to work games on a rotating schedule, as well as special promotional events throughout the season.

We will no longer be displaying greetings for groups or birthdays on the scoreboard at Football games.
We are limited in the amount of time we have to display these groups and greetings, and therefore have set the following guidelines:
- Any group that purchases a minimum of 15 tickets for a Men’s or Women’s Basketball game can provide their group name on the order form, which we will include in the group greetings.
- If someone purchases a birthday plan ticket package for a Men’s or Women’s Basketball game, the name of the birthday boy/girl will be put on the message board.
The message board is limited to groups and birthday party packages that are purchased through the Rutgers Ticket Office at 1-866-445-GORU (4678)
