PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team’s season opener at Virginia Tech (0-2, 0-1 BIG EAST) on Saturday, March 1, has been postponed due to inclement weather and poor field conditions.

The BIG EAST Conference match-up will be rescheduled for later in the season. The Scarlet Knights will open the 2003 campaign on Saturday, March 8, at Cornell at 1 p.m.
