  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (May 27, 2014) – Defender Chelsea Intrabartola (Commack, N.Y.) and attacker Katrina Martinelli (Moorestown, N.J.) of the Rutgers women’s lacrosse team have been named to the 2014  Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division I North Squad Senior All-Star roster. The 2014 IWLCA North-South game will take place at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, June 7 at 11:30 a.m.

Both Scarlet Knights capped off their four-year careers “On the Banks” by helping RU earn its first trip to the BIG EAST Tournament since 2008. Intrabartola started all 18 games and ranked second on the squad in caused turnovers, while Martinelli totaled 14 points on nine goals and five assists.

Intrabartola was named to the IWLCA All-Mid Atlantic Second Team, as well as the All-BIG EAST First Team, following a standout senior campaign.
