  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (March 8, 2014) – The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team (3-3) fell to the No. 18 Stony Brook Seawolves (4-2), 14-4, Saturday afternoon at High Point Solutions Stadium. Sophomore attacker Kim Kolodny (Farmingdale, N.Y.) led Rutgers with a team-high three points on two goals and an assist.

Sbrilli scored her sixth goal of the year at 22:44 off the dish from Kolodny to cut the deficit to 7-2. Stony Brook would score two-straight to regain a seven-point cushion, until Kolodny made back-to-back goals at 12:21 and 10:41 on assists by junior midfielder Jenny Vlahos (Manhasset, N.Y.) and redshirt senior midfielder Amanda Trendell (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), respectively, to bring the hosts within five (9-4)
