  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (February 12, 2014) – Prior to the beginning of the 2014 season, ScarletKnights.com will bring you Q&A sessions with newcomers of the Rutgers women’s lacrosse team. This installment features freshman midfielder/attacker Delaney Tuite (Malvern, Pa.). The season begins on Feb. 15 against Manhattan in Riverdale, N.Y.

    What is the best part of being a member of a team?

    The best part of being a member of a team is automatically having a great group of people around me that support me and have the same goals as me so I can be my best.

    Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?

    I do not necessarily have any pre-game rituals or superstitions, but I always have to make sure my hair is out of my face and braided, my spandex are the right kind and my shoes are tied tight.

    If you could switch places with someone for one day, who would it be?

    If I could switch places with someone for the day it would definitely be Angelina Jolie because she has a huge family seems like she just has a great and very interesting life.

    What is your dream vacation location?

    My dream location would be the Maldives because it is beautiful and seems like a great place to go.

    What is the best advice you have ever received?

    Anything worth doing is worth doing your best.

    What is your favorite meal?

    I love steak but my favorite meal is salmon with teriyaki sauce.

    What’s something people don't know about you?

    I am weirdly flexible and am a surf instructor in the summer.

    What actress would play you in a movie?

    Kate Bosworth.
