Providence, R.I. (March 4, 2013) – Rutgers women’s lacrosse redshirt junior Amanda Trendell (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.

Trendell used a career high five-point day to lead the Scarlet Knights (3-1) past Monmouth, 11-8, on Saturday. The attack – who came into the season with three points – scored four goals and added an assist and two ground balls to earn head coach Laura Brand-Sias her 100th career victory.

The weekly conference selection was the first for Trendell and the second for the Scarlet Knights this season.

Rutgers returns home for a midweek matchup against Penn. The game – scheduled for Wednesday, March 6 – is set to start at 3 p.m.
