Providence, R.I. (February 18, 2013) – Rutgers women’s lacrosse midfielder Katrina Martinelli (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.

Martinelli used a career high eight-point day to lead the Scarlet Knights past Manhattan, 15-5 on Sunday, Feb. 10. The junior – who came into the season with 11 points for her career – scored five goals and added three assists.

With Manhattan within three (8-5), Rutgers scored seven-straight goals to account for the final score, including three goals and two assists from Martinelli. 

Rutgers heads to Temple on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
