PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team (7-3) picked up its first upset of the season as senior Melissa Mosey (Skaneateles, NY) and junior Cali Wojdyla (Liverpool, NY) led the Knights to a 15-12 victory against No. 14 Yale (7-3) on the Rutgers Stadium turf Wednesday afternoon.

SYRACUSE, NY - The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team (6-3, 0-2 BIG EAST) came back from an early five-goal deficit but was unable to upset No. 8 Syracuse (8-2, 5-1 BIG EAST) as the Scarlet Knights lost, 8-6, in BIG EAST play Saturday.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers women’s lacrosse sophomore Lyndsey Feldman (Ft. Myers, FL) was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week, Monday, March 31. Feldman finished the week with 13 saves and a save percentage of .684 through two games and second in the latest BIG EAST statistics (March 31) for save percentage (.605), goals-against average (7.14) and saves (72).

PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team (5-2, 0-1 BIG EAST) kept the score close as No. 4 Georgetown scored a late goal to earn the BIG EAST victory, 6-5, on Yurcak Field Sunday, March 30.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team (5-1) extended its win streak to five with a 17-3 defeat of Marist College (2-4) Wednesday night, March 26, on a rain-soaked Leonidoff Field.

March-21-03 Rutgers Defeats St. Joseph's, 12-5, For Fourth-Straight Win
PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team surged out to an early five-goal lead and never looked back en route to a 12-5 victory over St. Joseph’s University Friday night at Finnesey Field. With the win, the Scarlet Knights, under the direction of first-year head coach Laura Brand, win their fourth straight game, improving to 4-1 overall for the season.

March-19-03 RU Women’s Laxer Curiale Recognized by Inside Lacrosse
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers women’s lacrosse junior Cristina Curiale (Summit, NJ) was named an Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week honorable mention. Danielle Hensil of No. 12 Old Dominion was named the player of the week, while Amy Appelt of No. 4 Virginia, Sarah Robinson of No. 3 Georgetown and Acacia Walker of top-ranked Maryland joined Curiale as honorable mentions.
