PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Freshman Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) scored four goals and tallied an assist and sophomore Katy Lawrence (Plyesville, Md.) had four scores to lead Rutgers to a 19-6 win over Villanova in women's lacrosse action on a cold Wednesday night at Rutgers Stadium Complex. The win moved the Scarlet Knights to 2-0 on the year, the best start since the 1999 campaign.

ITHACA, N.Y. - Rutgers scored two goals in the second three-minute overtime to defeat No. 11 Cornell 11-10 in overtime on Saturday afternoon at Schoellkopf Field. The loss snapped a 13-game home win streak for the Big Red and marked the first win over Cornell in Rutgers history (1-9).

New Jersey natives Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, NJ), Jessica Davis (Moorestown, NJ), Meghan Flanagan (Medford, NJ), Erika Page (Moorestown, NJ) and Emily Penn (Medford, NJ) were all named to the All-America First Team, while Karie McGuire (Monrovia, MD) garnered All-American Honorable Mention.
