DePaolera and N.J. All-Stars to Scrimmage U.S. U-19 Team
Scarlet Knight to participate in exhibition game
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (June 22, 2012) – Sophomore attackman Nick DePaolera (Kinnelon, N.J.) will represent Rutgers on the New Jersey All-Stars as they take on the United States Men’s Under-19 National Team in an exhibition on Sunday, July 1 at the Mountain Lakes High School Turf Field in Mountain Lakes, N.J.
The second-year Scarlet Knight was a threat to opposing teams all season, scoring 37 points off 15 goals and 22 assists for second-best on the squad in 2012. His 22 assists were a team-high. DePaolera started 14-of-15 contests for RU and first-year head coach Brian Brecht.
The action is set to begin at 3 p.m. General admission for the event is $10, with proceeds helping benefit the U-19 team’s trip to the World Championship in Turku, Finland, later in July.
