  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Dec. 23, 2013) - With the 2014 gymnastics season quickly approaching, get to know the Scarlet Knights. The season starts Jan. 11, 2014 against New Hampshire at the Livingston Recreation Center.

    Major/Minor: Biology, psychology minor

    Favorite Olympic Gymnast:  Sean Townsend
    Favorite Pro Athlete: Jim Burt
    Favorite Pro Sports Teams: New York Jets
    Favorite Movies: Requiem for a Dream, A Beautiful Mind, Zoolander
    Favorite TV Shows: Dexter, American Horror story, Family Guy
    Favorite Foods:  Sushi, Thai food
    Favorite Song Right Now: “Take It or Leave It” by Sublime feat. Rome

    The farthest place from home I've been is Mexico.
    My favorite gymnastics memory is winning the Optional Gymnast of the Year award after coming back from a fractured vertebrae.
    My favorite gymnastics event to compete on is beam.
    I committed to Rutgers over other schools because I love the atmosphere of a large school and I absolutely love our coaches here!
    When I was little I always wanted to be a doctor.
    After graduation I hope to be accepted into a medical school.
    The most influential person in my life is my dad.
    My favorite midnight snack is flaming hot Cheetos.
    An artist no one would believe I have on my iPod is Easton Corbin.
    If I could spend a day with anyone in history, it would be Kurt Cobain.
    If you walked into my bedroom, the first thing you would notice is my drawings on my wall.
    If I could eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be pad thai.
    The best place at Rutgers is the Livingston Dining Hall.
    My favorite class at RU was Physics.
    A pre-meet ritual of mine is to listen to “Mambo No. 5” by Lou Bega.
    I hate to admit it, but I love to watch documentaries on the History Channel.
    If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be Boston.
    If I could play any other sport at RU, it would be soccer.
    My goal for the 2014 season is to make Regionals as a team!!!!
