March-15-03 Rutgers Falls to Maryland 195.350 - 193.825
COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team (14-12, 0-6 EAGL) fell to the University of Maryland on Saturday night in College Park as the Terrapins picked up the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) win, 195.350 to 193.825. RU sophomore Sveta Shterenberg (Sharon, MA) posted the second-highest all-around score in Rutgers history, scoring a 39.100.

March-08-03 RU Gymnasts Place Second in Final Home Meet
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team (14-11) broke the team’s beam record for the third time this season as the Scarlet Knights finished second in their final home meet of the season. Rutgers’ score of 193.700 was second to Michigan State’s 195.450, while Yale and Brown rounded out the meet with a 191.900 and 191.500, respectively

March-03-03 Rutgers Finishes Third at UNO's Classic
TEMPE, AZ - The Rutgers women's gymnastics team (12-10) finished third in the UNO's Classic, scoring a 193.125. Host Arizona State, ranked fourth in the nation, scored a 197.825, followed by the No. 25 California Golden Bears and their score of 196.100.

February-25-03 Kristen Marino Named EAGL Specialist of the Week
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers gymnastics senior Kristen Marino (Hillsborough, NJ) has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Specialist of the Week. The weekly conference award honors gymnasts who compete in less than three events. Marino, a senior tri-captain, led the Scarlet Knights to one of the program’s top finishes over the weekend as Rutgers defeated Temple and Bridgeport.

February-22-03 Rutgers Sweeps Temple and Bridgeport in Record Night
PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team (12-8, 0-5 EAGL) broke the team’s beam record for the second time this season en route to one of the program’s best-ever scores as the Scarlet Knights topped Temple and the University of Bridgeport. RU swept the meet with a 193.950, followed by the Owls’ 191.200 and Bridgeport’s 185.000.

February-16-03 Rutgers Gymnastics Falls to WVU, No. 19 Penn State
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team fell in a tri-meet at West Virginia on Sunday, Feb. 16. No. 19 Penn State finished first with a 195.450, followed by the host Mountaineers’ 194.900 and the Scarlet Knights’ 192.400.

February-08-03 Modi, Abrams Lead Rutgers Gymnasts to Second-Place Finish vs. Pitt, Cornell
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team (10-6, 0-4 EAGL) finished second in a home tri-meet this afternoon in the Livingston Recreation Center. The Panthers of Pittsburgh placed first in the meet with a 193.950, followed by the Scarlet Knights with a 191.l325 and Cornell with a 187.200.

NEW HAVEN, CT – The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team (9-5) picked up its first dual-meet win of the season, outscoring the Owls of Southern Connecticut State, 190.700-186.875, on Saturday, Feb. 1.

January-25-03 Rutgers Sets New Beam Record Against JMU, Towson and Ursinus
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team (8-5, 0-3 EAGL) set a new team record on beam, scoring a 48.625 in the event as the Scarlet Knights placed second in their first home meet of the season. The Tigers of Towson took first with a team score of 193.050, followed by the Scarlet Knights’ score of 192.825. James Madison took third with a 186.825 while Ursinus rounded out the scoring with a 183.175.

January-22-03 Rutgers Gymnastics Edged By Temple in Dual Meet
PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Rutgers women’s gymnastics team (6-4, 0-2 EAGL) fell in a closely-contested meet as the Temple Owls (2-5) slipped past the Scarlet Knights, 191.950-191.875.
