March-05-05 Fittery Leads RU Gymnastics to Second Place Finish
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers University gymnastics team (13-6, 1-5 EAGL) scored 191.200 points to take second place, missing the top spot by just one-tenth of a point in its regular-season home finale at the Livingston Recreation Center. Eastern Michigan finished in first place with 191.300 points, followed by the Scarlet Knights, Cornell (187.775) and Ursinus (184.650).

February-26-05 Rutgers Gymnastics Finishes Second Against West Virginia, Bridgeport
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers gymnastics team (10-5, 1-5 EAGL) fell just short of defeating 2004 defending East Atlantic Gymnastics League champion West Virginia on Saturday evening at the Livingston Recreation Center. The Mountaineers took first place with 193.150, while the Scarlet Knights scored a season-high 192.525 points to finish second, followed by Bridgeport in third place with 185.725.

February-19-05 Rutgers Gymnastics Splits at North Carolina Tri-Meet
CHAPEL HILL, NC – The Rutgers gymnastics team (10-4, 1-4 EAGL) scored 192.100 points to finish in second place at the North Carolina on Saturday. The Tar Heels rolled up 195.850 points to take first place, followed by Rutgers and William and Mary (191.150 points).

February-11-05 Gymnastics Takes Second at Maryland Quad Meet
COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Rutgers gymnastics team (9-3, 1-3 EAGL) earned a second place finish in a quad meet between Maryland, Temple and Brockport State on Friday, Feb. 11, in College Park, MD.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Sophomore Kelly Straka (Fairless Hills, PA), has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Specialist of the Week, the conference office announced today. Straka’s Specialist of the Week honor is the first of her career.
