The two-day tournament was scheduled to begin yesterday, but inclement weather forced the event to shortened to one round.
Bataille and Whitman both fired an eight-over-par 80 on Monday to tie for 15th place. Yale’s Neel Williams took top individual honors with a one-over-par 73.
Junior Brent Pittman (Montvale, NJ) carded an 81 on Monday to tie for 18th place. Placing 42nd was senior Michael Michel (Attleboro, MA) who shot an 84 for the event. Sophomore Erick Morales (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) was one stroke behind with an 85 to tie for 48th overall out of 119 competitors.
The Scarlet Knights led all schools with 11 birdies on Monday.
The men will return to action Friday and Saturday, April 11-12, competing in the Princeton Invitational.
