October-04-03 Pittman Captures Second Win of Season at Temple Invitational
MOOSIC, PA - Less than two weeks after winning his first career tournament at the JMU Invitational on Sept. 22, junior Brent Pittman (Montvale, NJ) captured his second title of the season, winning the Temple Invitational on Saturday. The two round tournament, held Friday and Saturday at the 6,693-yard, par-71 Glenmaura National Golf Club, was Pittman’s second championship through four matches this season.

September-27-03 Men's Golf Places Fourth at McLaughlin Invitational
BETHPAGE, NY - The Rutgers men’s golf team placed fourth out of 12 teams at The McLaughlin, with a 12-over par 852 (285-278-289). The tournament was hosted by St. John’s University at the 6,709-yard, par-70 Bethpage Red Course in Bethpage, NY on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27.

HARRISONBURG, VA – Senior Brent Pittman (Montvale, NJ) won the 30th annual James Madison Invitational on Monday, held at the 6,496-yard, par-71 Lakeview Golf Course in Harrisonburg, VA.

September-14-03 RU Men's Golf Opens Season With Sixth-Place Showing at Navy Invitational
ANNAPOLIS, MD - The Rutgers men’s golf team opened its 2003 fall season this weekend, recording a sixth place finish at the Navy Fall Invitational, held at the par-71 United States Naval Academy Golf Course.

April-27-03 Men’s Golf Finishes Third at Rhode Island Invitational
KINGSTON, RI - The Rutgers men’s golf team tied for third place overall with George Washington at the rain-shortened University of Rhode Island Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 26, carding a 312 team score. The event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, was shortened to one round as rain moved through the par-72 Newport Golf Club on Saturday morning, canceling the final round of competition.

April-22-03 Rutgers Men’s Golf Places Fourth at BIG EAST Championships
NOTRE DAME, IN – The Rutgers men’s golf team finished fourth in the 2003 BIG EAST Championships on Tuesday, April 22, carding a 927 (306-308-313) for the three-round tournament. The event, which included the conference’s top six schools, began on Monday with two rounds and wrapped up on Tuesday with a final round of competition.

March-31-03 RU Men Finish Third at George Washington Invitational
ISSUE, MD - Lead by 15th place showings from sophomore Jason Bataille (South Plainfield, NJ) and junior Brian Whitman (Blairstown, NJ), the Rutgers men’s golf team finished third overall at the rain-shortened George Washington Invitational on Monday. The Scarlet Knights shot a 325 for the tournament, held at the par-72 Swan Point Yacht and Golf Club in Issue, MD, finishing the day behind Yale and tournament leader Princeton, which shot a 309 in the 20-school event.

March-25-03 RU Men’s Golf Opens Spring Season With 10th Place Showing at William and Mary Invitational
WILLAMSBURG, VA - After a week of spring training in Port St. Lucie, FL, the Rutgers men’s golf team opened its spring season on Monday and Tuesday, competing in the William and Mary Invitational at the par-71 Kingsmill River Golf Club in Williamsburg, VA. The Scarlet Knights finished in 10th place out of 19 teams in the two-day tournament with an aggregate score of 925 (314-302-309) for three rounds.

November-04-02 RU Men Place Fifth at Liberty Fall Classic
SAVANNAH, GA – The Rutgers men’s golf team wrapped up its fall season on Monday, placing fifth in the Liberty Golf Classic. The event, held at the Crosswinds Golf Club, was the final tournament for the Scarlet Knights in the fall. The men shot a 602 (305-297) for the event, 11 strokes behind the winner, Liberty, who shot 591 (296-295) for the tournament.

November-03-02 RU Men Sit in Sixth Place Heading Into Final Round of Liberty Fall Classic
SAVANNAH, GA - The Rutgers men’s golf team is in sixth place after the opening round of the Liberty Fall Golf Classic in Savannah, GA. The Scarlet Knights carded a round of 305, 12 strokes behind the leader Navy, who shot a 293 on Sunday. The tournament will conclude on Monday, Nov. 4.
