Brian LeonardLeonard will join author and Rutgers archivist, Thomas J. Frusciano for the two-hour signing of the unique tribute to Rutgers’ gridiron history from 2-4 p.m. December 4 at the Rutgers University Bookstore. The event will take place hours before the Rutgers football game against Louisville at 7:30 p.m. at Rutgers Stadium.

Written by Frusciano with a foreword by Rutgers head football coach Greg Schiano and an afterword by Leonard, the colorful 144-page book details 139 years of Rutgers football. From recent stars like Ray Rice and Leonard to the great players of yesteryear such as Paul Robeson, Homer Hazel, and J.J. Jennings, the keepsake offers rarely seen photos and dozens of pockets containing replica memorabilia, including a newspaper clipping of an 1890 game, 1922 tickets, a clipping of the 1961 perfect season, tickets for the 2006 Texas Bowl, and much more.

Leonard, a three-time All-American, was also an outstanding student during his time at Rutgers. Leonard became the 17th recipient of the Draddy Trophy, presented by HealthSouth, at The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame's 49th Annual Awards Dinner in New York City in December of 2006.
