PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Three members of the Rutgers football team – junior WR Kenny Britt (Bayonne, N.J.), senior FS Courtney Greene (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and senior WR Tiquan Underwood (Lawrenceville, N.J.) – have been named Preseason Honorable Mention All-Americans by NationalChamps.net.

Greene collected Second Team All-BIG EAST accolades in 2007 after leading Rutgers in tackles for the second time in three years with 101 stops. The New York product has started all 38 games in his Rutgers career and ranks eighth in school history with 299 career tackles.
Underwood totaled 1,100 yards receiving in 2007 to rank second in Rutgers single-season history en route to First Team All-BIG EAST honors. Underwood and Britt return as the top receiving duo in the Football Bowl Subdivision in 2008 after the two players totaled 2,332 yards receiving last season.
The Scarlet Knights open the 2008 season Monday, September 1 at Rutgers Stadium vs. Fresno State. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. with live television coverage on ESPN.
