PISCATAWAY, NJ – Justin Rudd has been named Video Coordinator for the Rutgers Athletic Department.
Rudd, who served as the Assistant Video Director at the University of Pittsburgh during the 2002 season, has worked extensively on the college and professional level. A May, 2001 graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Sport Management, Rudd began his professional career as a video assistant with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers in the summer of 2001. In January of 2002, Rudd was named assistant video coordinator with the Scottish Claymores. Following the completion of the NFL Europe season, he returned to the United States to become assistant video director at Pittsburgh, before joining the Rutgers staff.
A native of Montclair, NJ, Rudd will coordinate all the video needs for the Rutgers football program. He is responsible for filming all games and practice sessions, breaking down the film for coaching staff and players and overseeing the film exchange program with in-season opponents. He is also responsible for evaluating internal technological needs of the Rutgers football program.
