PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Single-game tickets for the 2007 Rutgers football season will only be available to individuals on the season ticket waiting list, the Rutgers Athletic Department announced today. There will be no general public sale of single-game tickets this season.
"Due to the overwhelming demand for football season tickets and with close to 6,000 season ticket requests on our waiting list, we do not have the ability to offer single-game tickets to the general public," said Rutgers Director of Athletics Robert E. Mulcahy. "There is a tremendous need for those who want to be part of Rutgers football this season. We understand we are not meeting the demand for tickets and hope to be able to accommodate Rutgers football fans in the near future."

The Scarlet Knights begin the first of eight games at home this season Thursday, August 30 vs. Buffalo. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Season Tickets Mailing
All season tickets will be mailed out during the first full week of August. We ask that all customers wait until they receive their package in the mail to find out their seating and parking locations.
Season Ticket Waiting List
A limited number of individuals on the waiting list will be called and offered season tickets for the 2007 season. For those individuals on the waiting list who are not offered season tickets, we will try to accommodate each of you with the opportunity to buy tickets to one single-game this season. A ticket office representative will reach out to you later this season if single-game tickets become available. However, we cannot guarantee that every individual on the waiting list will be offered the opportunity to buy single-game tickets.
Individuals interested in being added to the waiting list should call the ticket office or order online. A $20.00 non-refundable fee per season ticket is required to be placed on this list. The fee will be applied to the balance of the season ticket price in the year in which the individual is awarded season tickets.
Tickets to Away Games
All football season ticket holders were mailed an Away Game Ticket Application by the end of May. Due to the limited number of tickets available, away game tickets are only offered to season ticket holders. Individuals on the waiting list who are offered season tickets will be allowed to purchase tickets to away games.
Student Ticket Policy
New Brunswick/Piscataway undergraduate students will be eligible to receive student tickets this season. Those students will receive an e-mail as well as a letter sent to their home with information regarding the new ticket policy by mid-August. A limited amount of student tickets will also be available to non-New Brunswick/Piscataway students.
