The Scarlet Knights open the 2003 season at home vs. Buffalo on Aug. 30, followed by road games at Michigan State (Sept. 6) and Army (Sept. 13). Following a bye week, Rutgers will round out the month with a home game vs. Navy (Sept. 27).
Rutgers will face four BIG EAST foes in October, beginning with an Oct. 4 home game vs. Virginia Tech, followed by a road contest at West Virginia on Oct. 11. The Scarlet Knights will then host Pittsburgh (Oct. 18) and end the month with a road game at Temple (Oct. 25).
Rutgers has a bye week to open November, before traveling to Connecticut (Nov. 8). The Scarlet Knights then jump back into BIG EAST play for the final three games of the regular season. Rutgers hosts Boston College (Nov. 15), and travels to Miami (Nov. 22), and concludes the season by hosting Syracuse (Nov. 29).
Game times and television information are still being finalized and will be released at a later date.
