PISCATAWAY, N.J. (December 18, 2013) – Rutgers Athletics has received a tremendous demand for tickets to the New Era Pinstripe Bowl matchup against Notre Dame. Rutgers sold out of its allotment of 10,440 tickets as over 14,600 requests were made through the Rutgers Ticket Office.
“We are thrilled to sell our entire ticket allotment in only a few days, but are obviously disappointed that we were not able to accommodate all fans that ordered tickets,” said Geoff Brown, Senior Associate Athletic Director. “We are deeply grateful that our fans purchased from our allotment as bowl committees review such things for bowl selections. We would like to thank our fans fortheir overwhelming support”.
Tickets were allocated based on the Rutgers Athletics Priority Point system as of June 30.
“With the increasing demand for Rutgers tickets and as we enter the Big Ten, we encourage all of our fans to purchase tickets as soon as possible and get established in the Priority Point system,” said Brown.
