KNIGHTS IN THE NFL – Week 13

  • There are currently 23 former Rutgers football players on NFL rosters spanning 11 teams. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the most former Scarlet Knight players on their roster with seven.

    Inactive for the contest.

     

    Marvin Booker (2008-12), LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Carolina 27, Tampa Bay 6
    Placed on the reserved/injured list on Aug. 8, 2013.

     

    Kenny Britt (2006-08), WR, Tennessee Titans
    Indianapolis 22, Tennessee 14
    Saw action at receiver, but did not record any statistics.

     

    Marcus Cooper (2009-12), DB, Kansas City Chiefs
    Denver 35, Kansas City 28
    Made the fifth start of his career and grabbed his third interception of the season. He finished second on the team with eight tackles (all solo).

     

    Anthony Davis (2007-09), OT, San Francisco 49ers

    Started at right tackle.

     

    Jonathan Freeny (2007-10), LB, Miami Dolphins

    Saw action and made one tackle at linebacker and one on special teams.         

     

    Gary Gibson (2001-04), DT, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Carolina 27, Tampa Bay 6
    Saw action and made one tackle.   

     

    Ka’Lial Glaud (2009-12), LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Tampa Bay 24, Detroit 21
    Made three tackles at linebacker and notched one special teams tackle, his first statistics of his career.  

     

    Khaseem Greene (2009-12), LB, Chicago Bears
    Minnesota 23, Chicago 20
    Made the second start of his career and hauled in his first career interception, returning it 49 yards. He totaled five tackles in the game.

     

    Duron Harmon (2009-12), DB, New England Patriots
    New England 34, Houston 31
    Made two solo tackles. 

     

    Clark Harris (2003-06), LS, Cincinnati Bengals
    Cincinnati 17, San Diego 10
    Primary long snapper for the Bengals.

     

    Mark Harrison (2009-12), WR, New England Patriots
    New England 34, Houston 31
    Placed on the reserve/non-football injury list on Aug. 26.

     

    Jawan Jamison (2011-12), RB, Washington Redskins
    New York Giants 24, Washington 17
    Member of the practice squad. 

     

    Brian Leonard (2002-06), RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Carolina 27, Tampa Bay 6
    Caught two passes for 10 yards.

     

    Devin McCourty (2005-09), DB, New England Patriots

    Started at safety and made five solo tackles.

     

    Jason McCourty (2005-08), CB, Tennessee Titans

    Started at corner and made three solo tackles and defended two passes.      

     

    Ray Rice (2005-07), RB, Baltimore Ravens
    Baltimore 22, Pittsburgh 20
    Picked up 32 yards on 12 carries and finished tied for the team-lead with six receptions, totaling 38 yards.

     

    Logan Ryan (2010-12), DB, New England Patriots
    New England 34, Houston 31
    Grabbed the third interception of his career and second in consecutive weeks. He also made three solo tackles and defended two passes. 

     

    Mohamed Sanu (2010-12), WR, Cincinnati Bengals
    Cincinnati 17, San Diego 10
    Caught one pass for nine yards.

     

    Tiquan Underwood (2005-08), WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Carolina 27, Tampa Bay 6
    Started at receiver and caught three passes for 51 yards, including a long of 23 yards. 

     

    Jamaal Westerman (2005-08), LB, Buffalo Bills
    Atlanta 34, Buffalo 31
    Made two solo stops.

     

    Tim Wright (2009-12), TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Carolina 27, Tampa Bay 6
    Started at tight end and caught two passes for 17 yards. 

     

    Jeremy Zuttah (2004-07), OL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Carolina 27, Tampa Bay 6
    Started at center for the Buccaneers.
