KNIGHTS IN THE NFL – Week 7

  • Kenny Britt–Tennessee Titans
    Caught four passes for 30 yards in a starting role at wide receiver. He hauled in a long of 16 yards in a 35-34 win over Buffalo.

    Anthony Davis- San Francisco 49ers
    A starter at offensive tackle, Davis helped pave the way for running back Frank Gore, who accumulated 131 yards on the ground with an average of 8.2 per carry. The 49ers picked up a 13-6 win over Seattle. 

    Justin Francis- New England Patriots
    The defensive lineman saw action but did not record any statistics in a 29-26 win over the New York Jets.

    Jonathan Freeny- Miami Dolphins
    Bye week.  

    Gary Gibson- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Saw time at defensive tackle but did not record any statistics in a 35-28 loss to New Orleans. 

    Clark Harris- Cincinnati Bengals
    Primary long snapper for the Bengals in the 24-17 loss to Pittsburgh.

    Kevin Haslam- San Diego Chargers
    The offensive tackle was signed to the practice squad on Sept. 4. The Chargers were on a bye.

    George Johnson- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Played at defensive end and assisted on one tackle in the 35-28 loss to New Orleans.

    Joe Lefeged- Indianapolis Colts
    The safety played in the 17-13 win over Cleveland and notched an assisted tackle on both defense and special teams.   

    Brian Leonard- Cincinnati Bengals
    Inactive for the matchup with Pittsburgh due to an injury.

    Kevin Malast- Tennessee Titans
    On injured reserve list as a linebacker for the Titans.

    Joe Martinek- New York Giants
    The running back was signed to the practice squad on Oct. 9.

    Devin McCourty- New England Patriots 
    Returned a kickoff 104 yards for a touchdown, his first return of his career and the second-longest in team history behind Ellis Hobbs’ 108-yard return on Sept. 9, 2007. McCourty also notched five solo tackles in the 29-26 win over the New York Jets.

    Jason McCourty- Tennessee Titans
    Recorded one interception, his second in two weeks, and tallied six tackles in the 35-34 win over Buffalo.

    Ray Rice- Baltimore Ravens
    Carried the ball nine times for 42 yards (4.7/carry) and caught all five passes thrown his way for 12 yards. The Ravens fell to Houston, 43-13. 

    Mohamed Sanu- Cincinnati Bengals
    Saw significant playing time, finishing second on the team with three receptions totaling 27 yards. He also carried the ball once for seven yards. His three catches were the first of his career. The Bengals suffered a 24-17 loss to Pittsburgh.

    Alex Silvestro- New England Patriots
    The tight end was named to the practice squad on Sept. 1.

    Tiquan Underwood- Tampa Bay Buccaneers 
    Started at receiver for the Buccaneers and caught two passes for 35 yards, including a 13-yard strike for his first career NFL touchdown in the 35-28 loss to New Orleans. 

    Jamaal Westerman- Arizona Cardinals 
    Saw the field at linebacker but did not record any statistics in the 21-14 loss to Minnesota.

    Jeremy Zuttah- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Started at center and helped pave the way for 513 yards of total offense for the Buccaneers in a 35-28 loss to New Orleans.
