PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 30, 2012) –Tulane University officials reconfirmed the football game between Rutgers and the host Green Wave will be played as scheduled this Saturday, September 1 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Kickoff is set for 8:03 p.m. ETwith national television coverage on the CBS Sports Network.

The Rutgers Radio Network begins pregame coverage of the game Saturday evening at 7 p.m.

Members of the Tulane administration worked with officials from the City of New Orleans, Entergy, Conference USA, Rutgers University and the CBS Sports Network and all entities have agreed to go forward with the game despite damage inflicted to the city by Hurricane Isaac, which made landfall on Tuesday evening south of New Orleans.

The Rutgers Football team is scheduled to depart for New Orleans Friday afternoon from Newark Liberty International Airport.
