Following the Kickoff Celebration, the Scarlet Knights will practice in Rutgers Stadium, which will be open to the public.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Single-game tickets for the 2004 Rutgers football home games will go on sale beginning Thursday, July 1. Individual tickets can be purchased for the Scarlet Knights’ six-game home schedule by phone at (866) 445-GORU, online or in person at the Rutgers Athletics ticket office.

June-24-04 New Surface, Scoreboard Set for Rutgers Stadium
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Robert E. Mulcahy has announced that Rutgers Stadium, home of the Scarlet Knights football program, will benefit from two major renovations when the team opens its home schedule on Sept. 4 vs. Michigan State. Since the conclusion of Spring Practice 2004, the playing surface as been changed to FieldTurf, while a new, state-of-the-art scoreboard will grace the south end zone.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers football defensive standouts Nate Jones (Scotch Plains, NJ) and Raheem Orr (Elizabeth, NJ) were taken in the seventh round of the NFL Draft today. Jones, a cornerback, was the sixth pick by the Dallas Cowboys, while Orr, a defensive end, was the seventh pick by the Houston Texans.
