PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers head football coach Greg Schiano announced Monday that Teddy Dellaganna of Bakersfield CC has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for the Scarlet Knights beginning in the fall of 2007. Dellaganna will have three years of eligibility for the Scarlet Knights after spending his freshman year at Bakersfield CC in Bakersfield, Calif.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Former Rutgers cornerback Manny Collins (Plainfield, N.J.) has been chosen to receive the Chris Zusi Award, presented annually to the Outstanding Male Athlete of Union County. Collins was a fifth-year senior in 2006 for the Scarlet Knights and one of the team's top defensive backs and inspirational stories.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Three former Rutgers football standouts – tight end Clark Harris (Manahawkin, N.J.), fullback Brian Leonard (Gouverneur, N.Y.) and offensive lineman Cameron Stephenson (Inglewood, Calif.) – have been invited to compete in the 2007 NFL Scouting Combine Feb. 21-27 in Indianapolis. The three players concluded their outstanding collegiate careers at Rutgers in the 37-10 victory over Kansas State in the Texas Bowl Dec. 28.

February-07-07 Rutgers Announces 2007 Football Recruiting Class
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers head football coach Greg Schiano announced Wednesday that 21 high school standouts have signed National Letters of Intent to play football for the Scarlet Knights beginning in the fall of 2007. The recruiting class, ranked by several recruiting services in the nation's top 30, included five offensive linemen, four defensive ends, three defensive backs, two defensive linemen, two linebackers and one fullback, tailback, tight end, wide receiver and place-kicker each.
