PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The "Greg Schiano Radio Show" returns to the air waves for the 2007 football season, beginning Tuesday, August 28 at 9 p.m. The one-hour show airs on WOR 710-AM in New York City and WCTC 1450-AM in Central Jersey and is also broadcast live on the Internet at scarletknights.com and nj.com. Hosted by Tim Pernetti, the show airs through November.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - Rutgers wide receiver Tiquan Underwood (Lawrenceville, N.J.) is one of four nominees for the AT&T All-America Player of the Week award, and now it's up to the fans to determine the winner. Edwards joins University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan, Appalachian State quarterback Armanti Edwards and UCLA quarterback Ben Olson on the ballot list, which was selected by ESPN based on the players' outstanding performances during the week. Fans can determine the winner by text messaging "VOTE" to "87654" on their wireless phone.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Heisman Trophy candidate Ray Rice (New Rochelle, N.Y.) rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns, while junior Tiquan Underwood (Lawrencville, N.J.) caught 10 passes for a school-record 248 yards and two scores to help No. 16 Rutgers to 38-3 season-opening win over Buffalo before 43,091 fans. The victory marked the Scarlet Knights eighth straight win within the confines of Rutgers Stadium and marked the team's fifth consecutive home opening victory under reigning national coach of the year Greg Schiano.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Two of the nation's premier college football awards named a pair of Rutgers standouts to their respective watch lists Tuesday. Rutgers junior running back Ray Rice (New Rochelle, N.Y.) was named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List while senior place-kicker Jeremy Ito (Loma Linda, Calif.) was named to the Lou Groza Award Watch List.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – "Inside Rutgers Football with Greg Schiano" will air on four different networks in 2007, including national coverage on CSTV, along with regional coverage on MSG, Sun Sports and MASN. Viewers from television markets in New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and the entire state of Florida, in addition to fans across the nation, will be able to view the 30-minute feature-oriented show on the Rutgers football program.
