Ricky Palmer enters his first season as video coordinator for the Rutgers football program after joining the staff in March 2010.

Prior to arriving at Rutgers, Palmer worked three seasons in the video department for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals from 2007-10.

At Rutgers, Palmer’s daily responsibilities include fulfilling all internal visual needs of the program, while being primarily in charge of filming and editing video for instant analysis by the coaching staff through the use the latest video technology. Palmer also oversees the Assistant Video Coordinator and a staff of several student assistants.

A 2006 graduate of Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio, Palmer earned a degree in Communications. Palmer was also a four-year letterman on the football team at Wilmington.

Palmer began his career as an intern in the video department with the Cleveland Browns during the 2006 season.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Palmer currently lives in Somerset, N.J. with his wife, Eileen.
