Video Coordinator

Chris Hayes enters his third season as Video Coordinator for the Rutgers football program. He joined the staff in July, 2006 and brings with him a wealth of video filming and editing knowledge after serving the previous two years in the program’s video department.

Hayes’ daily responsibilities include the fulfilling of all internal visual needs of the program. He is primarily in charge of filming and editing video for instant analysis by the coaching staff using the latest video technology available in DVSport Software. He oversees the Assistant Video Coordinator and a staff of eight student assistants.

In 2005, Hayes worked as an intern in the Rutgers video department where he gained experience in editing video and organization of film sessions. During games, he filmed from field level and edited highlights on a weekly basis. Hayes also assisted with the NFL’s New York Jets and DVSport in 2005.

A 2006 graduate with honors from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Communications and Criminal Justice, Hayes began his work in the program’s video department in January 2004 as a student assistant. He filmed practices on a daily basis, along with each of the Scarlet Knights’ home and away games. Hayes resides in Old Bridge, N.J.


Steve Pratti

Stephen Pratti is in his fourth season as Assistant Video Coordinator. He joined the staff
in the summer prior to the 2005 season. Pratti assists with the day-to-day video operations for football, where his primary responsibilities include producing and editing team highlight
films and directing cameras for team practices.

Pratti came to Rutgers after serving four seasons with the NFL’s Washington Redskins from 2001-04, where he assisted with the video operations for the organization. He spent one season working with the University of Maryland staff, working all aspects of video production for the athletic department.

Pratti got his start as an intern with the NFL’s New York Giants in 1998-99, before praduating from William Paterson University in 1999, with a communications degree.
Pratti resides in Eatontown, N.J.
