Rutgers Field Hockey to Host Alumni Game & FRENZY Tournament

  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 28, 2014) – The Rutgers field hockey team will host its Alumni Game and FRENZY Tournament on Saturday, April 26. The day will begin with the Alumni Game at 11 a.m. and the FRENZY Tournament will follow, running from noon to 5 p.m. The day of friendly competition between alumni, family and friends will take place at the Bauer Track and Field/Field Hockey Complex.

    The Alumni Game is open to all former and current Rutgers players and will be an 11-on-11 contest, with two 25-minute periods.

    The FRENZY Tournament requires no prior experience and will consist of 5-on-5, 15-minute games. The cost to participate in the tournament is $10.

    Due to NCAA compliance regulations, high school aged participants, or prospective student-athletes, are not permitted to participate.

    Alumni can RSVP by emailing assistant coach Wesley Drew at wdrew@scarletknights.com. FRENZY teams can sign up by submitting rosters to Coach Drew.
