PRINCETON, NJ – The Rutgers women’s cross country team opened up the season with third-place finish at the Princeton Invitational, Sept. 13.

Junior Belmax DeJesus (Fort Lee, NJ) finished 10th and sophomore Sarah Peterson (Belle Meade, NJ) finished 25th to lead the Scarlet Knights.

The team returns to action Friday, Sept. 19, at the Monmouth Invitational in Holmdel, NJ.
