Men's Cross Country Finishes 10th at Leopard Invitational

EASTON, PA – The Rutgers men’s cross country team finished 10th overall at the Leopard Invitational, hosted by Lafayette, on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Senior Steve Slaby (Manilus, NY), coming off of his second-place finish last weekend at the Rider Invitational, led the Scarlet Knights and finished 32nd overall (26:54.32) out of 155 runners. Tim Vitez (Haddonfield, NJ) continued his strong freshman campaign with a 49th-place finish (27:07.02) and senior Brian Stanziano (Barnegat, NJ) took 60th place (27:13.02).

RU will return in two weeks to compete in the BIG EAST Championships at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx on Friday, Oct. 31.
