Julie Culley (center) PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers women’s cross country team competed in the District II Championships today at Canaan Resorts in Davis, West Virginia. The Scarlet Knights finished in ninth place in a 27-team field, with 276 team points. Georgetown won the event with 50 points, followed by Villanova, Penn State, West Virginia, Princeton, Bucknell, LaSalle, and Maryland.

STATE COLLEGE, PA – The Rutgers University women’s cross-country opened its 2002 season with a fifth-place finish at the Penn State Invitational in State College. Senior Julie Culley (Lebanon, NJ) led RU with a second-place finish, clocking 21:28, which was just :18 off the pace of first-place finisher Tracy Brauksieck, who finished the course in 21:10.
