PISCATAWAY, NJ – The fourth-seeded Rutgers (20-7) women’s basketball team will play its NCAA Tournament first-round game against 13th-seeded Western Kentucky (22-8) Saturday, March 22, at 11:18 a.m. The game is being contested at Stegeman Coliseum (10,075) in Athens, GA.

ESPN2 will show the game in selected markets. In addition, WCTC 1450 AM and WRSU 88.7 FM will air the game live.

In the other first-round game, fifth-seeded Georgia (19-9) will play 12th-seeded Charlotte (21-8) 30 minutes after the completion of the Rutgers-Western Kentucky contest. ESPN2 will also show that game in selected markets. Please check your local listings for the games being shown in your area.

The winners of the two first-round games will meet in the second round Monday, March 24. The game time and television coverage for the second round have yet to be determined.
