PISCATAWAY, N.J.  (March 15, 2013) – The Rutgers women's basketball team will hold its Annual Awards and Year-End Banquet on Friday, April 12, at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception, followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.

The Scarlet Knights will honor their own with awards voted on by team members, which include Offensive and Defensive honors, Most Inspirational and Most Valuable Player. The Cagers Club co-sponsors the banquet and will present several honors of their own, including the Cagers Club Award and Chelsea Newton Heart Award.

The banquet will also honor the squad’s seniors: Brittany Lapidus, Chelsey Lee, Monique Oliver and Erica Wheeler.
